Kalimpong Science
Centre is located near Deolo Hill. This science centre has been established
with the aim of promoting scientific trends and sharing knowledge and ideas related
to science and technology among the general public. The complex also houses a
science observatory and a 3D movie theatre. Inside the museum there are a
variety of exhibits that people can view. Kaleidoscopes, rolling balls, fun
mirrors, pendulums, optical gadgets, gravity defying objects and others are
some of them. Outdoor exhibits are displayed in the Science Park which is green
as well as picturesque. There are huge dinosaur installations, exhibits
explaining the evolution of different species.
