Jang-Dong Gumpa Kalimpong
JANG DONG PARLIFFO
GOMPA is located about 5 km from the main town of Kalimpong, this gompa was
consecrated by the Dalai Lama in 1976. Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Gompa is also
known as Durbin Monastery. The beautiful paintings on the walls of this gompa
exhibit the model of Buddhist architectural style and are the important
features of this temple. This gompa and other sights around it showcase the
